Sara Robbins, APR

Director of Social Media

Sara Robbins joined the KPS3 crew in 2020 as a public relations director. A strategic leader, collaborative teammate, and gifted storyteller, Sara conceptualizes and implements strategic public relations initiatives for clients. But in all reality, this simple explanation doesn’t do what she does daily much justice. While ‘juggling’ wasn’t part of the job description, she has definitely mastered the art. From building relationships with key media outlets and coordinating press kits, social media, and speeches to producing talking points and navigating crisis communications, Sara really does it all.

When she’s not keeping her head on a swivel, you can find Sara advocating for body confidence. As a plus-size runner, Sara is out to show the world that any body is a runner’s body, and as a brand ambassador for Desert Sky Adventures, Nuun Hydration, RunnerBox, and Skirt Sports, she does just that. She has also been featured in stories for Self Magazine and the Rock N Roll Marathon Series Blog. And, if she hasn’t proven that she can beat the Best in Show for Balancing Acts, she is also the Immediate Past President for PRSA Sierra Nevada (past volunteer positions include VP of Silver Spikes for PRSA Sierra Nevada and Communications Chair for Susan G. Komen Nevada).

Before joining KPS3, Sara spent six years as publicist for THE ROW – Eldorado, Circus Circus and Silver Legacy in Reno, overseeing external communications, media relations, and social media. Sara has also previously held positions as public relations and social media manager at Bauserman Group (now Foundry), public relations and community affairs manager at Grand Sierra Resort, and social media associate at Quinstreet, Inc. Sara has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno, and earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2020.
In addition to her love of dogs, running, and family—you will find no truer fan of New Found Glory than her. With a goal to see NFG in concert 100 times, this dedicated rocker is standing at a strong 91 proving that pop-punk is still not dead and that getting 9 more concerts on the board really will be a piece of cake.
