Insurance Management Group

My name is Zakary Thomas and my wife, and I live with our 4 children on the west side of Indiana just
outside of Lafayette. I have been in EMS for 12 years and a paramedic for 10 of those. My EMS journey
has seen me in county 911 services, private services, and hospital-based services with time spent on
various specialty teams as well as serving as CFO for the private company I was with. I have my MBA
from Purdue University and am also obtaining advanced degrees in data analytics and predictive
statistics. I now do business consulting and work with Insurance Management Group specializing in EMS
sector insurance products to help optimize bottom line results and improve sustainability for EMS
organizations. I have a passion for EMS as a field and still am active as a paramedic. I believe that EMS is
evolving and will be able to grow outside of its historical limitations and into a stronger, more dynamic
service providing platform. My goal is to help achieve that broadened horizon and ensure operational,
financial and social sustainability for our field well into the next generation and beyond.
