Brett Dragun is a seasoned project manager and emergency management expert with a distinguished public health and safety career. Currently serving as the Federal Liaison at American Medical Response (AMR), Brett has been instrumental in managing the FEMA National Medical Transport and Support Services contract, a role he has excelled in since 2021.

Brett’s expertise is underscored by his successful management of multiple high-stakes federal activations, including responses to 16 major hurricanes and 46 COVID-19 responses. His leadership during these critical events has earned him numerous accolades, including the Excellence Award from the Department of Homeland Security and the Star of Life Award from the American Ambulance Association, both presented in Washington, DC. Notably, the Star of Life Award recognized his success in a command role during the Route 91 Las Vegas mass shooting.

Brett lives in New Jersey with his wife, Teray, their two sons, Lincoln (11) and Channing (9), and their three dogs. He is deeply committed to community service in his local area. He holds leadership positions in various local organizations, including the Howell United Soccer Club and the Howell Township Environmental Commission.

Brett’s academic credentials are equally impressive. He holds a Master of Arts in Homeland Security with a focus on Emergency Management and Public Health from American Military University, where he graduated with honors. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Religion and History from Western Michigan University.

With a career marked by excellence in emergency management, project leadership, and community involvement, Brett Dragun continues to make significant contributions to public safety, emergency preparedness, and emergency medical services, where he is considered a subject matter expert.
