Alexia Jobson

Public Affairs Manager, REMSA

Alexia Bratiotis Jobson, BA, APR is the Public Affairs Manager for the Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority (REMSA). Jobson has two decades of business and communications experience ranging from agency client services to a non-profit visual art institution, from an integrated health network to real estate property management. In 2008, Jobson earned Accreditation in Public Relations (APR). This certification is designated by the Universal Accreditation Board and is intended to assert professional competence, high ethical standards and mastery of progressive public relations industry practices. She is active in several local and national philanthropic, public relations and professional networking boards and associations.

JW Hodge is chief operating officer of healthcare services and leads REMSA’s ground operations, communications, community health programs and comprehensive public affairs and communications strategies. J.W. joined REMSA in 2005 as an emergency medical technician and was quickly promoted into the role of education manager. J.W. previously held positions at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center as an education specialist and emergency room technician. In 2010, he was recognized by the Reno Tahoe Young Professionals Network as a 20 Under 40 honoree. He is active in several EMS and health services boards and associations including the International Trauma Life Support board of directors and the National Association of Emergency Medical Services Educators. He is a nationally-certified EMS educator and completed the American Ambulance Association Ambulance Service Manager Program. JW serves on the board of the Nevada Ambulance Association and is President-Elect.
