Adam is a career paramedic with 20 years’ experience in public safety. Originally from East Tennessee, Adam has held many positions in ground EMS operations including FTO, rescue technician, honor guard, shift supervisor, and training officer. Adam obtained several specialty certifications throughout his career including becoming a critical care paramedic, certified flight paramedic, and certified tactical paramedic. For 10 years of his career, Adam served as a flight paramedic and clinical educator in the Appalachian region including a year in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Adam was also a tactical paramedic and master operator assigned to a special weapons and tactics team in East Tennessee. Adam is a graduate of the FEMA National Emergency Management Academy and is now based out of the GMR National Command Center in Lewisville, Texas where he serves as the Operations Section Chief overseeing all operations in the GMR Office of Emergency Management. Adam maintains his EMS certifications and continues to practice as a Paramedic.
