American Specialty Vehicles specializes in the manufacture of Type II Transit, which is KKK 1822-F certified, and the remount and refurbishing of Type I & III Ambulances.

Our company was founded by Steve Arnold who has been in the Ambulance business for over 30 years. He began as an EMT in 1982 and served as an Ambulance Service Provider, and Dealer, and then eventually moved on to become one of the largest family-owned Ambulance manufacturers in The United States.

American Specialty Vehicles prides itself on operating within strict compliance with KKK, CASS, FMVSS, AMD, and DOT standards.
